Bug (or invalid link) in Windows developer centre forums RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • If I follow the link to the forums from the MSDN Windows developer centre (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/aa904945.aspx) I get

"You are not authorized to perform this action."

Don't know if it's a duff link on the developer centre, a bug in the forums, or a problem with my account; could someone take a look? Might save a lot of confusion if it's happening to everyone who tries to follow the link.

  • I am not able to repro this. The link (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/aa904945.aspx working perfectly fine. Try deleting cache/cookies from your browser or try different browsers.

  • Strange, I didn't get an email notification of your reply. Could have sworn I elected to receive such things.

Anyway, I've now tried on another machine (MacOSX 10.5.8, Safari 5.0.2) and get exactly the same thing, so it's not my cookies or cache. I'm not sure why you mentioned that link - yes, it works fine for me too. I'm talking about the one on the Windows developer centre page I linked to (in the right column, "Visual C++ Forums on MSDN", linking to http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windev/
