    CAN ANY ONE HELP ME RESOLVE MY PROBLEM WITH VISTA AND WGA, I AM TIRED OF GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES, I WANT A COMPUTER THAT WORKS I WANT GENUINE MICROSOFT PARTS I WANT TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM WITH VALIDATION I EVEN WANT TO PAY TO PUT THINGS RIGHT ALTHOUGH MY SUPPLIER SAYS THE INSTALATIONS WERE GENUINE AND WILL DO NOTHING FURTHER FOR ME. I DONT WANT ANY MORE FAQ'S I DONT FWANT TOF VISIT EVERY MICROSOFT SITE THAT EVER EXISTED AND STILL NOT HAVE A RESULT. IJUST NEED SOMEONE TO TELL ME IN THE SIMPLEST WAY POSSIBLE WHAT TO DO NEXT. SO PLEASE HELP ME.

    1. Download and run the MGA Diagnostic Tool: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

     

    2. After running the MGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and then click on "Copy".

     

    3. Next, visit the following website and create a post in the "WGA Validation Problems" forum and paste the results of the WGA Diagnostic Data in a detailed post. http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/default.aspx?SiteID=25

     

    4. A WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend an appropriate solution.

  • Hi Carey, I have already done this and you were the one person to offer helpful advise, but I still have my problem and  I am still going round in circles, I tried the route you suggested and cant get into the sight, tried doing Google search and entering direct but just end up with FAQ'S. I seem to have XP when I should have Vista, the XP is counterfeit according to Microsoft, but no one will tell me what to do next to a lose the XP and second to install Vista which is what I wanted, even if I have to pay again as the shop won't do anything. I am in china but have problems getting mail delivered it can take upto 6 weeks as a minimum, so would prefer to do everything on line if I can.
