LiveOne slowed down loading cookies and temp.

Question
-
since I had LiveOne installed, i've noticed a drastic change in the speed of temp files and cookies loading into pages (pictures, passwords etc.). So i was wondering if there's a way to tweak that
and I've already allowed the browsers by the firewall etc.
and i even tried making the C:/WINDOWS/temp folder an exception in the spyware moniter setting.
so i'm stuck and frustrated.

Did you use the Norton Install Cleanup tool - http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039 . Some Symantec products do not uninstall completely unless the uninstall tool is used.

I would not go that far, but Norton is not unlike many other security packages in that respect. They install deep into the OS in order to provide the protection, so it is sometimes difficult to remove it completely through a normal uninstall. OneCare is the same in this manner.
