Switching Hard drives.. System Image failed.. Help :/? RRS feed

    Hey guys, can someone explain where I went wrong here? 

    Running windows 10 on a Toshiba Satellite with a hybrid drive.  I suspect the hard drive side is having issues so I was hoping to switch drives. 

    I created a windows image on an external hard drive, and put the WinPe on a usb stick.  Upon taking out the old hard drive, and putting in a new hard drive( this hard drive is a ~300GB one I salvaged from a external hard drive case that broke, it works fine on all accounts ) I fired up the computer into WinPe. After selecting the system image and clicking the appropriate next(s) I receive a "system image failed" error due to no drives being found because it apparently could not install the image?
