  • Question

  • I am the IT Manager for small firm 8 machines total -- my 50 machine activation code is not working -- I would like to understand why and get it fixed. I am including the Diag report for the machine I am currently trying to activate. I would like to talk to someone if possible.

  • The installed Key is NOT an MAK Key - it appears to be a normal MSDN one, and as such is limited to 10 activations (at most).

From where did you acquire this 'Volume License'??

  • This was purchased before I was hired -- However the owner swears the deal was for 50 licenses and she believes the purchase was for approx. $850.

The Shipping label I have on the envelope specifies:

    ELECSURF-PC-Deal4u
    1115 North AVE
    NEW ROCHELLE, NY 10804

    Postmark is dated 02/24/2010

    ANY ASSISTANCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

  • We've had problems with this store before :(

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=elecsurf+site:social.microsoft.com&gws_rd=cr&ei=MCt0VvHxOoG2a9Ogl4AK

You can try going through MS for Get Genuine Kits - but they would cost more (I suspect) than purchasing new OEM licenses for the machines you have:(

You should probably talk to a specialist Volume Licensing vendor, and see what your options are. They may be able to source GGK's for you at reduced prices.

  • Afraid I can't help much with that - the best I can do is give you this link (https://pinpoint.microsoft.com/en-US/search?type=companies&competency=100010&geoRadius=5 ) and suggest that you conduct due diligence with whoever you pick out of the lineup, as the listing is strictly a 'phonebook' and not an endorsement by MS of any company listed.
