Vista blocks going offline RRS feed

    Hi,

    After a lot of problems configuring the indexing service on VISTA, the installation finally

    was completed and we now have client for outlook laptop with OFFLINE installation with

    intranet address as myserver:5555 and checked the box below it with the ip  address of myserver.

     

    However, when we go offline we cannot see any of the CRM screens, and get error saying that

    the page is not available.

    Any suggestions???

    I assume when it goes offline it goes to it's local webserver? Maybe a possible DNS issue, it cannot resolve it's own computer name - add it in the host file if it cannot.

     

    Also check the EVENT viewer.

    Hi,

    I managed to intall the indexing service and offline installation completed.

    However, when the  VISTA user wants to be offline and presses the "enter offline state"   there is

    a popup of error saying the user does not have enough privileges IN THE QUEUE.

    Now, I don't know what queue there is to refer to  in the given context.

    Note that this user is run with (windows) admin privileges on that computer and also I cheked that

    he has all the CRM privileges that might be related to going offline and also in the "Options"

    in the CRM he is autorized to anything that is related to going offline.

     

    What the error points to?
