I'm a non techie mature student and purchased the Enterprise Software 2007 from what I believed to be a reputable supplier of student softward. However, I can't validate it and so can't get any updates from MS - how do I check online if my product key is valid and genuine??Saturday, November 21, 2009 3:48 PM

From your MGA report:
Windows License Type: Volume
Validation Status: Blocked VLK (Volume License Key)
Unfortunately, your computer has a non-genuine, Volume License copy of Windows XP Professional installed. In order to correct this and become properly licensed, please visit Microsoft Genuine Advantage and click on Validate Windows. When validation fails, click on the Get Genuine button to learn how to acquire a WGA Kit.

Hello Fantasia90210,
The mgadiag report says that your computer is an HP/Compaq DX 2300. Very often computers from major manufacturers such as HP/Compaq are shipped with a genuine Windows license preinstalled.
To find out if your computer is one of these, look for the Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) for Windows on the computer. (If this is a laptop it will be on the bottom.) If there is a CoA, tell us what version and edition of Windows is listed on the CoA. Don't post the product key!

To help us analyze and troubleshoot a non-genuine notification issue you may be experiencing, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool.
Once you run the tool, click on the Continue button, then click on the Copy button and paste the report into your post, along with your question.
Thank you!
