  • Yeah, I was on two week holidays and didn't do anything. Today I started new learning unit and yes magically sandbox activated. Sandbox reset itself and I re-agree with sandbox invitation again.

  • Have you accidentally or on purpose deleted any resources that are related to the sandbox account/storage, etc? This would cause portal not to be provisioned and cause this problem. I have ran into the same issue and continue to find a solution.

  • No, as far as I remember I didn't delete anything because sandbox after some period of time is free ups by itself. Last week everything was working good. I suspect that is from Azure side problem appear recently, may be Azure November 2018 update.

    Error on unit page: https://screenshots.firefox.com/r4jd8r7IJoWoEOcQ/docs.microsoft.com

For the experiment, I logged to Azure Portal into @learn.docs.microsoft.com directory under which sandbox is activated and tried manually create some resource and got error:

    Switch directories

You are currently signed into the 'learn.docs.microsoft.com' directory which does not have any subscriptions. You have other directories you can switch to or you can sign up for a new subscription.

    Here is the screenshot: https://screenshots.firefox.com/hf8LADPJMGfuC0AC/portal.azure.com

Let me know if you find solution. I also thought to reassign from/leave @learn.docs.microsoft.com directory to sign up/join again in order to start fresh sandbox

PS: Strange, I can't attach images to post because account should be verified but I didn't find how to do that, no email from forum.

  • I have seen the same thing, that happened to me.

and here is what I found on GitHub as an issue, so this might be azure wide problem not just random cases.

  • Boguslaw, I remember that I created only new Dashboard under @learn.docs.microsoft.com directory/tenat and deleted old one to switch to it. No other things with subscription made. You think this caused the issue?

How is your status? Did you find solution?
