Hi Panchartrain,
Please make sure that the user is a System Administrator and has FULL ACCESS to CRM in Setup-Users. Also watch the DMM load after the sign in, it should show the step it is on after sign in. If there is a message regarding Database Sync, you are past the issue of User Login, you are now in the process of the Database installation.
If it is on the DB and failing: make sure you DMM Update Rollup matches your CRM Server Update Rollup.
I noticed that you have DMM installed on the CRM server. Do you have SQL express installed also and is the database on C:Drive? If no: I recommend that you install DMM on a workstation with SQL Express Database on C.
Do not uninstall DMM on the CRM server as that will break the CRM Asyncronous Service.
Best regards,
Don Chang

Are you the admin for CRM and for Windows? If so are you a deployment administrator?

On the CRM server you can access Deployment Manager from the Start Menu. Check the admin users in there.

Also, what rollup version do you have installed for the DMM?
Where have you installed DMM?
Did you choose the SQL express option, if not have you installed against SQL Server 2005 64bit?

Hello Panchartrain Systems,
Which ever account was used to install CRM will have deployment admin privilages. Is that account still active? There is no deployment admin security role. Those privilages are assigned via the deployment manger. There is the catch. Let me know if that account is still active which would be your easiest route
Thanks,
Robert

Hi,
Agree with Don Chang. A pie from my end, you need to be logged in as a Local Administrator or a user who has local administrator privileges on the workstation (client) where you install DMM for CRM 4.0.

I ran into this problem as well but didn't catch your post prior to uninstalling DMM from my server. It does appear that asynchronouse is no longer working. What's the best way to fix? Is it as simple as reinstalling DMM or is there more to it?Thursday, January 13, 2011 11:17 PM
