Setting up test windows 2008 system for training - question on minimum specs RRS feed

    I setting up a training lab and am looking at purchasing a used HP

    Processor: AMD Athlon X4 645

    RAM: 4 GB Memory

    Graphic: ATI Radeon HD4200

    1 TB hard drive

    It looks like this hardware will support Windows 2008 r2.

    Can someone confirm for me before I buy it?

    Yes, the system that you describe will easily support 2008R2. I've got it running inside a Virtual Machine which is itself running inside 2012 R2 on physical hardware with less specs than those.
