Removing a computer for the WLOC Circle RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am a service member stationed over seas, and have a couple of questions.

    1. How do I remove a computer from my circle, after the hard drive has been formated? I was unaware that I have to have it on line to remove it.

    2. Will WLOC work on a German version of XP Home?

Thank you for any information you are able to give me.

  • There is no need to remove OneCare from your subscription since the drive was removed. However, after you install Onecare again and activate, if you use the same LiveID to continue with the same subscription and then make this new install a Hub, you can remove the "phantom" from your Circle.

You can install from http://onecare.live.com You don't need to use a CD.

Since you already have a subscription, simply activate with the same LiveID for your subscription. If you are creating a new subscription, you will need to have your IE language set to match the location where you are - German if in Germany, for example. If you are in a country where Onecare is not sold, you can't create a new subscription, but you can activate with an existing subscription.
