Download file error message with Microsoft Money 2000 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Having used this for years suddenly when trying to download transactions from my bank online service I now get an error message:

"the procedure entry point yyyy could not be located in the dynamic link library USER32.dll"

I am using Windows 7 Professional service pack 1.

The only recent change to the computer is the addition of Kaspersky Total Security 16.0.0 - could this be my problem? If it is how do I protect my computer but still download from the bank into MS Money?

  • It seems unlikely, but you can check if it is interference from Kaspersky by right clicking on the Kaspersky icon and selecting "Pause Protection".

I would next try reinstalling Money.  If that doesn't help, you could try using system restore to roll back to a date when Money was working.

Be sure that you have good backups of your Money files on a different medium in case your hard drive is failing.
