RC1: ssl broken for remote connections? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have installed RC1 yesterday, (after having run the Beta and CTP on the same rig and network environment) and on my LAN all works well. I can connect to the server perfectly with IE

Now that I'm at work I can not get to ssl secured pages (this has always worked with Beta and CTP versions, there are no changes in the networks):

    When I type:

http://domain.livenode.com/ in the address bar it gets redirected to:

    http://domain.livenode.com/default.aspx?gotodefault=true which is redirected to:

https://domain.livenode.com (https) which displays half a 'page not found' error page, no certificate is shown before it displays the error.

when I type http://domain.livenode.com/home the public home page is shown. (and an extra site configured with whiist is also working properly)

When activating the remote access, I did not instruct WHS to configure my router as I figured it was configured previously and was working well. I do however cannot remember seeing a forwaring rule for port 443, only for port 80.

Has anyone else see this problem?
