how to remote wake up acer H340 whsv1 home server RRS feed

    I just setup home server for remote connect. my question is: when my homer server powers on, I can use IE remote connect with it and do whatever I want; when the server is on sleep model, I can not use IE remote contral. It's mean, I can not send electronic signal to wake up it from sleep model. What can I do or what softeware can chose?

    WHS is designed to run 24 hours per day, particularly so client computer backups can be made when they are not being used. However, dependent upon the network card tou have in your Server, you could try using Wake On LAN (WOL) software on a client to wake up the server from sleep when you need to manage or use your server.
