  • I had it running well through all the preview builds, but since "TH1 Professional 10240", I get an error saying I need to reinstall IE6 and it fails to open.

    Would be really happy to have this fixed, but in the meanwhile I'll have to run it from inside a Win7 VM.

  • MS Money (MoneyDlxSunset) has worked with following registry change.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer]
    "Version"="9.11.10240.0"  (originaly: 9.11.10240.16384)

    I'm not sure about side effect by this change. registry change is at own risk.

  • I followed the path but I do not have the parameter "Version" but "Version Vector" and then 3 subparameters", i.e.: Predetermined, IE and VML. IE has a value of 9.0000. Shall I make the change in IE with the value you suggest (9.11.10240.0)? I just update to Windows 10 in Spanish. Thank you.

  •  I am a computer novice, so finding the Start menu is a problem for me. Can you walk me thru    hkey_local_machine\SOFTWARE\WoW6432\Node\Wo\W6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

    Where to enter this parameter and where I find the Start menu

    Thank you

  • I saw the same thing at first, but I think you are looking at sub-keys of IE. Select the final "Internet Explorer" node in the path and you should see a bunch of name/value pairs, including "Version". I found it there, made the suggested change, and then MS Money then launched without the IE6 warning.
