Does anybody know which rollup build number 4.0.7333.1340 relates to? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have checked the file version of the SSRS Connector EXE on our report server and it tells me the build number is 4.0.7333.1340

I have reviewed all the KB articles for all the rollups to date and this build number does not appear anywhere.

Does anyone know which rollup this build number corresponds to?

    Cheers,

    Tim

  • As this is not one of the rollup build numbers, I assume it must be from an independent hotfix (one released between rollup 2 and 3, judging by the number). Unfortunately I don't think MS publicise the build numbers in these hotfixes. I suggest you check the Add/Remove programs to see if there are any hotfixes listed, otherwsie I think your only option would be to contact MS support

  • Hi David,

I did wonder that myself but there is nothing in the add/remove programs to indicate that a rollup/hotfix has been applied, which is what I would expect to see.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • There are also different build numbers for different media such as MSDN, Technet, Volume, etc. And every so often Microsoft releases a new slipstreamed release which has some update rollups built in, but has a different build number compared to any of the separately available updates.

  • Hi Neil,

Thanks for that. I'm assuming that these Build Numbers aren't publicised anywhere? Not to worry, I am going to upgrade them anyway, but just prefervto know my starting point.

    Cheers,

    Tim
