CRM 2011 On Premise Rollup 16 (5.0.9690.3911)

I am trying to configure document management in CRM through the "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 List Component for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 (for multiple browsers)".
I followed the installation instructions exactly, uploading and activating the list component in SharePoint and ran the configuration wizard in CRM with a user that is a site collection admin in the target SharePoint Sitecollection.
At the last step of the configurationwizard in CRM (when the documentlibraries in SharePoint should be created) it stops with the error message:
"An error occurred while loading the page. The URL may not have been mapped in the SharePoint Server. Ask your system administrator to check the Configure alternate access mappings settings in the SharePoint
Central Administration."
