Hi, staff! I'm wondering why MOE.exe would still run in the background, even if I'd turned Live Mesh off by the tray. I've also since the beginning set the Remote Desktop service of Mesh to Manual, so it's yet to even run since then. I mean, what's MOE's purpose if nothing of Mesh is supposedly even running? I'd not even logged into my account so that it would theoretically be possible to sync my files, even if Mesh was off! I'd to shut its service through Task Manager (MOE.exe) manually because it was taking a *load of processing power, and personally I'm always counting CPU in that case. Often RAM is not a big issue on today's systems, and especially with companies taking that usage lower and lower since novices always thinks that's what slows down - most advanced users and up know it's not the case today. CPU usage is and will probably always have a big impact on the other hand.
Do I have to shut it down manually every boot just because it shouldn't be running at all and is so hungry on resources? When I shut it down by the tray, I did so because I don't want to use it then taking the resources of my system. Naturally it takes a lot as it's syncing my selected files, also accessing the harddrive a big lot, logically.
I don't know how to prevent the various parts of Live Mesh to load and run at boot without removing it, but I would suspect that it is starting as a service with dependencies.
