Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook fails to detect installed outlook 2003

Question

I am trying to install CRM Outlook client 4.0 on a particular machine. I am getting the message that a supported version of Outlook is not detected. This computer did have MS Office 2003 Basic installed. I have removed the Outlook client and installed Outlook 2003 seperately. I am still getting the error that Outlook is not detected.
