CRM 4.0 requires registration every 30 days. RRS feed

  • Question

  • When reinstalling CRM after our initial install had disappeared from our domain with a server outage, Microsoft's CRM support had me download the latest version of CRM which was a trial version. We dicked around for several days before it was finally functional. Now it's timing out every 30 days and requesting that we register the product, even though we installed it with our Action Pack Partner code.

    Here's the exact error message:

The registration grace period has expired and Microsoft Dynamics CRM has been disabled. To re-enable Microsoft Dynamics CRM, run the Registration Wizard. To do this, click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and then click Registration Wizard.

Anyway, we would like this product to stay fully functional. We're not certain why it's doing this, but I suspect there's a bug in the original installation code.
