ClientSyncProvider.ApplyChanges() & partial table sync RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've written a subclass of ClientSyncProvider, to sync a local Sql Server 2008 database (using Change Tracking) to a proprietary web service.  All is well so far.  The last (hopefully) issue that I have to deal with is to cover the case when a call to the web service fails (for whatever reason), when I call it to CRUD a particular row in the cloud.  In this case, I'd like to attempt the web service call again, next time a sync happens.   Any ideas on how to correctly create a return SyncContext for ApplyChanges(), to let Sync Services know that 1 or more rows in the table(s) of the dataSet that was passed to me weren't synced?

    Thanks,
    Brad
