  • Hi,

The Activities tab is not customisable at this time - you can customise the quick create form that is used when you click the big '+' button on the application bar - but you can't add fields to the inline activity create form.

  • Hi Scott,

    Thank you for replay.

We are using "+" to create new activities but it requires us to fill all information about the recepient. Is it possible to create process that will fill "Call to" field automaticaly with the account or lead it was started from.

  • The Quick create form will not auto-fill out any field from the previous record you were on. You might be better off selecting 'Activities' from the application bar for the record and then from the activities subgrid using the add new activity command bar button.

  • Hi Scott,

Would you be able to provide this Activities button screenshot as i am not able to find it.  Also it sound like you are describing view of previous version CRM 2011.

Even changing between LEAD and LEAD:Information view i can not find any Activities subgrid.

  • Hi,

    Sure.

    1. Open your lead

    2. Select the dropdown next to the lead name in the Application Bar

    3. Select 'Activities'

    4. This will give you a subgrid that you can use the 'Add' button from.

    The subgrid looks like:

  • Okay, I think something went wrong with sitemap after the update. We do not have Activities under this menu.  I chose to edit form but Activities also do not exist in left navigation tree.

  • Right - I see. You should just be able to add it back in from the form editor.

  • So i added activities tab and tried to create phonecall activity from that subgrid, but it still does not fill up "call to" field. In previous update we were not required to manually fill this up.

  • Hi,

You are right - it doesn't from a form subgrid, but it does if you add a navigation link to activities - or use the 'open associated subgrid' button from the form subgrid.

  • Well that seems to work, but older version required less clicks. Not too impressed by this update yet.

Thank you for all the help Scott!
