help! I'm getting WGA notifications at Winlogon and in the system tray on systems that use a valid volume site license. I support systems that are used in health care and this problem is going to directly affect patient care.
I tried running MGAdiag and attempted to click the resolve button, but the button is grayed out.
Also, turning off the WGA notification as a workaround in the system tray has no effect.
I've looked through some of the forums regarding wga issues and have tried other options as well.
Validation windows from www.microsoft.com/genuine and then running wgatray /b
I've also tried deleting legitcheckcontrol.dll and revalidating windows as well.
Last I have tried a possible solution also found in the forum linked to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813442 The resolution steps are to re-register many dll's using regsvr32. This also did not help with the issue.
My current case number with Microsoft is SRX060926604258
I will most likely look into disabling WGA under http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921914 if cannot find a solution.
