Reformat trouble RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I am having trouble reformating my Windows Vista computer. I boot from the CD drive and all of that, and really have no trouble until the part right after I choose whether to upgrade or do a custom installation. In this step it says select driver. I'm not sure, but I believe that it's the part where you select the hard drive to install it on. Anyway, at this step, it does not give me any options to select, so I can't even continue the reformatting process. The entire reason Im reformatting is because when I try to boot up, it gives me a boot failure message right after the BIOS, and then tells me to put in system disc. Is anyone able to help me with this situation? Please tell me if I'm missing any information you need in order to solve this problem.
