Syncing Win7 with XP, very slow RRS feed

    Hi everyone,
    Up until now Ive been using vista/win7 on all my computers and synctoy worked great.  However now I got a new laptop and am using XP with it, and synctoy runs at a CRAWL.  It hangs on folders when scanning them and just generally runs slow.

    I am assuming this is a problem between win7 and xp networking, anyone have a fix??

    Or if there not a fix, can anyone recommend and alternative syncing program that will sync a folder over a network?

    Hi

    The first time SyncToy works with a folder pair, it just like you copy the whole LeftFolder to the RightFolder. So, I'm afraid you can copy the LeftFolder to RightFolder manually, if it also slow this time, I think the problem is caused by network but not SyncToy, I think.
