  • I am wondering if there is a way to install a different antiVirus on my windows home server?

  • Sure. There aren't many AV that support WHS directly, however I've gotten several to install on WHS just fine.
    You need remote desktop to your server, then you can basically install whatever you want.

    Use at your own risk. Programs not designed for WHS may not have been tested (though nearly all of them should work fine)

    Installing anything from the server desktop (including an AV) is unsupported.  Also, you should only use an AV app that is WHS-specific.  avast! has one, as does F-Secure.
