Mixing C# ASP.NET (VS 2010) and HTML5 RRS feed

  • Question

  • The question is in the title. There's some things I like in HTML5, but I'm getting used to C#, but VS2010 has this HTML header:

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

    ...which is not HTML5 methinks.

  • OK, and what's your question?

You can change the HTML header to your needs. The point to consider is if MVC controls and Helpers you will use supports HTML5.
