Cant seem to activate vista after a reinstall. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

My HDD crashed so I got a new one, reinstalled vista with the provided DVD.

After a few reboots, (installed drivers and such), vista wants to be activate, I followed the link and was validated.

But still, vista wants to be validated after every reboot.

The right hand corner of the desktop says -

    Windows Vista (TM)

    Build 6000

    Windows vista is not genuine

    What to do ?
