Administator passwords don't work on two of my computers (and no I don't have any kind of password disk!!!) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Two of my computers within a day of each other started to reject my administrator password. This has to be either a virus or more likely, a Windows update that screwed up my computers. Given that the second computer, my netbook, hadn't been used in a while, there were tons of updates to be put on it. So they both have the current updates and now I can't MAKE ANY CHANGES to any program on my computer. Fortunately, my data was backed up offline but it doesn't solve the problem of how I'm going to maintain my computer when my ADMINISTRATOR password isn't being accepted. WHAT IS MICROSOFT DOING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM?
