  • Hi,

I'm setting up Windows Server 2012 on new machine for VS 2013/2010 applications with MS SQL Server and many other tools, i mostly work on Web based (ASP.Net) and desktop based applications. I want to know it s how necessary/good to have domain server/active directory on development server to testing application and learning purpose.  For example i may need it if I want to write some code to login a web page through Active Directory User.  Point of asking this question is does it can create some difficulty in future while working with different Databases installed on same machine of something like that.?? (I may also install MySQL, PHP and other tools.)

    Thanks.
