Re-run the MGAdiag.exe file that you downloaded, and click continue. On the bottom left, you will see a button that says resolve. Click that and wait until a box comes up. it will either say To reboot, or that there was an error. If it says to reboot, go ahead and do that, if it says there was an error, restart the Diagnostics and see what if your Genuine status has changed. If it has, then reboot.

Please let us know either way.

    Thanks very much,

  • Moularia,

    Try this:

    1.  Restart the computer.

    2.  Next, do the steps in the resolution section of this MS KB article:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813442/en-us  Note:  The article has a slight error--you will only repeat steps 3-4-5 for each DLL to be reregistered.

Don't forget to type regsvr32 before each DLL file.

    3.  Next, restart the computer again.

    4.  Next, run the stand alone installer for the WGA Notification tool:  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=69498

    5.  Finally, restart once more.

Please let us know if this solved the problem
