Windows product key INVALID after 2 years of no problem.

Question
-
Hi. Woke up this morning to switch on laptop and a blank screen with 3 options appeared. Apparently my product key is invalid. I typed in the product key from the back of my laptop but it still said it wasn't valid. I have windows vista home basic and Dell Vostro 1500.
Here is my diagnostics report. The product key shown below is different to the back of my laptop.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hello, Adam
Judging by your report, it looks like you will need to reset the licensing store.
Try the following steps to reset the licensing store:If you have access to your start button:
1. Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, right click Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator.
2. Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
3. Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
4. Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
5. Type: cd %windir%\system32
6. Type: net start slsvc
7. Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
8. Restart your computer twice.
9. You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate. Be sure to use the key from the sticker on the side or bottom of the PC and activate using the By Phone method.
If you do NOT have access to the start button:
1. Open an Internet Browser window.
2. Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.
3. Find the file CMD.exe
4. Right-Click on CMD.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'
5. Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
6. Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
7. Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
8. Type: cd %windir%\system32
9. Type: net start slsvc
10. Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
11. Restart your computer twice.
12. You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate. Be sure to use the key from the sticker on the side or bottom of the PC and activate using the By Phone method.
