Have I a Problem with my Account


  • I have an account (in fact I have two accounts and my wife a third) - but I cannot connect to it via an email client (all sorts of problems - mainly the remote end does not like my password) - I have tried Thunderbird and Outlook (win10).  When I log on to Outlook using one of my other hotmail account via a browser I go straight into my account, with the normal interface.   However, when I log in to my 'problem(?)' account via a browser the interface I get is Outlook (preview) - why is this?  The only thing I have done recently (yesterday in fact) was to try and change the password on my account.  The process appeared to go smoothly (I received the code from ms in another account) but for what ever reason the new password does not work.  I still have to use the old password to log on.
