Compatibility of Outlook 4.0 client with CRM 2011 server RRS feed

    Hi All.

    I am testing an upgrade to CRM 2011.

    I have already run an upgrade on my development server. Now I'd like to confirm that it'll work with Outlook client - CRM 4.0 with rollup 11 - that is installed on the sales PC.

    I do not have CRM client on my PC. Can I install CRM 4.0 + Rollup11 and try to connect to CRM 11 server?  I am reading that this compatibility is supported only if client is installed prior to the Server upgrade. Does anyone know?

    Hi lana7220,

    The CRM 4 client is compatible for CRM 2011.

    CRM 4 + rollup11 is fine, you can connect and configure your client with CRM 2011.
