activate school license windows xp pro RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have windows xp pro from UofL. I am a faculty member there. When I got this copy, I know this license is free to us to use at home computers. But it comes up with an error saying the number of activation is exceeded. I did call microsoft. I can not answer specific questions on school license. I think any one here might be helpful.

    Here is the information:

  • I did call back microsoft. The representative asked me how many licenses for this product key. I totally have no idea about this. I think I should ask our department technician to answer such questions. Anyway, it is not working so far. Thank for your reply though.
