  • I have the same problem. I have tried teh same thing. I also built a new system and get the same results. The system is a 32 bit and mine is a 64 bit. Both windows 7.  I have been trying for a month and my son's and my system needs to be restored. Help

  • The log indicates that Restore wizard failed to create partition on your disks automatically. Please try to create partition by manual through disk manager on restore wizard.

  • I'm also getting this error.

The problem is the resore client re-creates the partitions even if you use the disk manager.... Any other ideas?! This is driving me Fing crazy.

I have a P8p67 Asus motherboard, I also installed the UEFI hotfix for the WHS eventhough i'm not using a UEFI installation. I though it couldn't hurt... No help... :(

  • I also was getting this error.

In my situation I was restoring to the same HD.

I used disk manager from the advanced page and deleted the partision then recreated it.

I again got the error so I went back to disk manager and marked the disk as active then it worked and the restore completed successfully.

  • This error will not go away on my restore.  Is there a bug here that is not fixed?  Sometimes it will start the restore and then complain of an unknown network error.  I have pings running on the home server to the machine I am trying to restore and the pings never stop working when the error is reported.  How can I be successful with this restore?
