I have Live Mesh installed on a Windows XP machine with sync to Desktop. I'm running 0.9.4014.4 on the PC. I share some other folders with four other colleagues as well using Live Mesh.
I purchased a Macbook Pro and installed Live Mesh for Mac the evening of March 6.
I added the new machine to the mesh and sync'd the folders that were already sync'd to the Desktop.
All appeared to be fine.
Then, today March 8, I noticed that there were several hundred files in the recycle bin from three sub-folders within a Live Mesh folder. These files had been deleted. They show up as having been deleted in the Live Mesh News. I did not delete them.
This is obviously horrifying.
Fortunately, I was able to restore all but one file from the recycle bin. (The one file could not be restored...Windows claiming it was in use...but it isn't. I'll retry after rebooting.)
I had random file deleting occur once before, several months ago, but this time it obviously coincides with the installation of Live Mesh on my new Mac. I have no other synchronization software on any of these machines.
Please advise.
