Error Message : 0XC004E002

Question
-
My Lenovo laptop is running Windows Vista Business. I am constantly getting the updates from Microsoft too. However, one day when I turn on my computer, the error message 0XC004E002 - " The software licensing Service reported that the licence store contains inocnsistent data. " appears and my screen turns black. It requires me to reinstall the Windows, and I lost my Vista CD. However, I found the product key at the back of my laptop.
Then, I try to back up the whole computer, but it states that my C drive has error and could not back up. Besides the black screen, it seems that the Windows is working fine except I cannot access "My Picture" because the file is corrupted but it has been a while now.
I have run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool and the result is pasted below.
Please help me to resolve this problem. Many thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Linda

Hi Noel,
1) Open an Internet Browser window.2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.3) Find the file CMD.exe4) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)I ran into the following message right after I select yes.
System error 5 has occurred
Access is denied.
Thanks for your helps.

Or try the steps in Safe Mode. This way you can ignore steps #5 and #9 since the slsvc does not run in Safe Mode, by default, so there would be no need to turn it off and then back on.Thank you,
