Is HPC 2016 .Net SDK backwards compatible with HPC Pack 2012 R2 headnode? RRS feed

  • Using the .Net nuget package at https://www.nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.HPC.SDK/ I cannot connect to a HPC 2012 R2 headnode.

    Is this a bug or is the SDK not backwards compatible?

    Error is

      We target to release this July. The backward compatibility fix is already in the SDK, we can share with you if you want to try out.
