Workspace permissions for PMs RRS feed

  • We would like to give our PM's the ability to add users to their Workspace without allowing them to delete users. (They have a tendency to delete the Admins).  Is there an elegant way that we can do this?  It appears in Project Server 2007 it is either all or nothing when it comes to managing permissions.

    If a PM wants to add a person for read-only access, then all they have to do is the person to the project team and the publish the project. If they want to give them contribute access like a team member, the they should assigne them to a task in the project and publish the project. The task could be a simple dummy task for this purpose only. Never manage Project workspace permissions in SharePoint. Too. problem prone.
