Today I work as IT Support and earn R$ 1.800/month (BR).
But I do many others things beyond fix computers.
I deployed a WDS server, where I manage, update and automate the Windows installations and company settings
I deployed and manage a project called "Software Central". This it a intranet's site where are avaliable all installers approved by IT management. I use powershell, VBScript and Batch and compile all scripts on a SFX Package with 7-Zip. These scripts browse the internet and download the latest software version avaliable and install with administrator credential (encrypted on script). All tasks are runned in background while user only see a animation saying "Installation in progress". On the finish, the user get a message of success or error and l receive a installation's log on a network folder with some infos like username, hostname, date, time, success, error...
Me too automate a lot of process like manage users and computers via powershell.
So, I'm doing all this things and I think that "IT Support" not is my area anymore, but idk which would be my area. Anyone would can help me to find my way on IT?- Moved by Richard MuellerMVP Friday, May 3, 2019 9:00 PM Not a TechNet Wiki question
