Two people trying to propose an answer (or one propose - another mark) at the same time

Question
-
Looks like there is a multi-user issue when two people are trying to propose an answer. Here is a sample
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/transactsql/thread/41fa7afc-2729-4c6b-9956-8219de3f5007
When I clicked on this thread, then clicked on the referenced link, read it, then click on the back button and then on "Propose an an answer" I got an error "Unspecified error" and I see now that the message is proposed, but it doesn't say who proposed it. Could it be becase I navigated to another page and returned back? Or because two users tried at the same time?

I believe the latest report I sent to you and you re-sent to Brent shows this exact problem.

Hi Naom,
Looking at the thread, not sure which post you were trying to propose. Looking at the post, it seems that someone else (OP) has marked a post as the answer. The only history that I saw is on the answered post. The issue that you saw could very well be a race condition where you tried to propose it v.s. OP marked it as answered. (Mark as answer takes precendence over Propose Answer)

Unspecified error is a very generic error and kind of irritating at times.
I often get it while replying to posts and I need to reload the page in order to post.
It happens so often that now when ever I reply to a post I first copy the comtent then click submit.
Hope this helps !!

Technet link is better.
It seems to have resolved another issue that I had. In my office I have IE 5 and in that the medals against the name were tiled vertically rather thatn horizontally.
Hence I had to do a a lot of extra scrilling. atleast that issue is solved with the technet link. hopfully the above issue will also be solved.
Hope this helps !!

I agree to both of you and Naom. We already have a bug on this. Our error validations should be consistent across the board. These "Unspecified error" is coming from java script calls on the page. We'll need to handle that.
Thanks for the suggestion
