MCSD: Web - In progress RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I've found an issue with my MCSD: Web Applications certification in my MCP profile and Certification Planner. I've checked the recertification requirement for this cert about a month ago and it was set to October 2016. Today I've checked my transcript and Certification Planner and this certification is not listed in my Active certifications, but is listed in "In Progress" section. But when I see to details about this cert in Certification Planner, I can see the picture below.

So it looks like I've sucessfully passed the standard exam version, but have to pass the Online Proctored versions of all exams.

Does anybody know what's the problem with this certification?

    Best regards,

    Zdenek Drlik

  • It seems to be correct. Note that each of the three sections contains an "OR", not an "AND", meaning that you have to complete EITHER the normal exam OR the online version. This is confirmed by the line at the top displaying "3 of 3 requirements completed", which shows that your MCSD is complete. You can also verify it by accessing your online transcript, which should be displaying your MCSD as "active", along with the date on which you need to recertify.

  • Hi,

You can try contacting your regional Microsoft training and cert. help center:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/help.aspx

Maybe they can explain why your certification is still in progress.

  • Hi Alberto,

yes, it seems to be correct, but it is not. The problem is that I have this MCSD certification listed in "In progress" and not in Active section. And also this certification is not listed in my transcript, it is not in Active nor Legacy section of transcript.
