Full Screen Sharing? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Advertisements when loading the meeting are no hindrance at all, and even the side ads when initially sharing.  But I would like to suggest that an ALT-ENTER or command for a viewer to make the sharing full-screen be added to the release version.  Otherwise I would prefer this tool to Netmeeting any day.

    Hi JustinOP,

Thank you for the great feedback. I have logged your suggestion into our database for future releases.

On the other hand, to help us better understand the user scenario you described, can you please provide more information about the  full screen software and user scenario you would recommend SharedView to support?

    Thanks,

  • Sure, sorry for the delay in response.

But for example if I am sharing out my desktop using Sharedview to another workstation, on that workstation they see my destop bordered by gray bars, so my 1024x768 shrinks down to fit within the gray.  Allowing fullscreen sharing, so that they just see my entire desktop on their monitor with minimal commands to close, would help in situations where Sharedview is used for desktop support or remotely giving someone a walkthrough of a piece of software, etc.  Those are things which I used to use netmeeting for, but since I've upgraded to Vista have wanted to use shareview for.
