Found a bug - don't know what to do - business required field not enforced RRS feed

  • Question

  • I think I have found a pretty severe fault with the current CRM Online version and I cannot find a way to submit a defect report to MSFT. I have no access to our O365 admin page, and the connect site does not accept bug submission for CRM. Any suggestion?
I'm going to post the defect here, maybe someone from MSFT is going to pick it up.

Problem: The mobile web version allows users to create records violating "business required" rules.

    How to recreate:

    - create a custom entity (the default "Name" primary field is business required by default)
    - modify the mobile form to make the Name field read-only
    - mark the entity available to mobile users and publish all
    - go to the mobile site (https://(...).crm.dynamics.com/m and navigate to the entity just created
    - press the "+" and create a new record. Save right away without entering any info.

  • You just need to create a support case on the Office 365. Then the support engineers will escalate it themselfes to the issue backlog.

  • open the same a suggestion in the Connect website and write the link here. So other users can find this thread and upvote it so MSFT team will notice it.
