Missing Biography from Thread Posts

Question
-
I noticed my Biography no longer shows in posts but it still shows in my profile.
Has this been reported yet?
Is anyone reviewing this issue?
Is there a known cause?
Is there an ETA for the fix?
Thank you!!!

Hi,
That's your profile page, but the signature is actually set using 'My settings' from the 'Quick Access' dropdown.
Click on the 'Quick Access' link under the 'Ask a question' button and then choose 'My settings':
You can adjust what appears under each post by changing what's shown in the 'Profile signature' field and then clicking 'Save changes'.
EDIT: Slow on submit, see above.

Hi Chris,
I think you have to use HTML to get those line breaks, I think that a </br> should work. I'm not going to go look or experiment with mine though, because as Mike says, my sig will get mangled and I don't want to have to fix it yet again.

Are you asking about the flyout here? I don't think there is any provision or place holder for that info on this object.

Thank you for your response.
You see where you have your disclaimer???
That is in your Bio of your profile right?
My Bio was showing at least as recently as last week. Now it is gone. (I changed it on 8/22/2014) It was showing on posts on Friday but I haven't noticed it since. Today I noticed it isn't there.

No, that is part of the signature line. I think there are issues with the profile editor that wipes out the sig line. You probably will just need to re-add your signature back in.

There is no section titled signature line only;
Avatar
Display Name
Professional Detail
Biography
Website
Social Media Connection
Twitter
Faceboob
LinkedIn
XINGAnd like I said the Bio used to show. Perhaps the Bio is the signature line???

Thank you!!!
Just forgot and was making changes in the wrong place. Of course it wouldn't show up as expected because I was expecting the wrong thing.
tsk, tsk, tsk!!!

Just be aware that if you put any HTML in your signature you'll need to make sure that the tags look right each time you make any future changes in 'My settings'. For some reason the tags get mangled each time you open the page.
