  • I RECIEVED A PHONE CALL TELLING ME MY EMAIL ACCT WAS SEEING SUSPICOUS ACTIVITY AND THEY WANTED ME TO GO TO MY COMPUTER AND TYPE SOMETHING IN WHICH I AM SURE THEY WANTED ACCESS TO, THIS HAPPENED 1 OTHER TIME  I ASKED THEM IF THEY WORKED FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS AND THEY SAID YES. WELL THEY GOT ME ONCE AND I THEN CONTACTED NORTON SECURITY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT YOU WOULD NOT CONTACT ME BY PHONE SO I STOPPED TAKING THERE CALLS AND IT LOOKS LIKE A PHONE ROUTER IS BEING USED TO CHANGE STATES AND AREA CODES FROM WHERE THE Y ARE CALLING FROM. IS THAT THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

  • Anytime you get a telephone call like this, tell the caller to send you a written letter outlying their request. If they refuse, it's obviously a scam designed to steal confidential and personal information! Do not offer any information!
