Dynamics NAV 2013 - Interaction Between Contact and Customer Cards RRS feed

  • Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the answer to my question-

    I know that in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 when you link a Contact card with a Customer/Vendor/Bank Account card the information on the cards changes automatically when you alter its counterpart. Is there a way to disable this function while still maintaining the link between the cards? People in various departments have access to one card or another, but what if for instance you want someone in Marketing to be able to update a contact without impacting its Customer card?

    Any advice would be appreciated, thank you!
