Plz Help - Emails created by Workflow to appear in Activities Tab RRS feed

  • Dear Sir,

    I have a workflow for an entity which creates an Email and sends it to the customer.

    What I want is - The Email should appear in the "Activities" Tab of that particular Entity and the user needs to open each Email manually, verify its contents and if he wish, then click on "Send" button to send the Email.

    Plz suggest what should be done?

  • Hi Abbas,

    In your workflow rather than adding a "Send Email" step add a "Create Record" step and select the email entity.

    This will allow you to create an email record. Ensure that all attributes on the email are correctly set and it is associated with the correct record. (you'll need to set the regarding lookup). The new email record will appear in the activities tab.
