I paid money for nothing..help! RRS feed

  • Hi,

    My Windows Live OneCare subscription automatically renewed this past January. I've had some issues with the program since and one of the trouble shooting options suggested was to uninstall and reinstall the program. However, since I've done this I cannot get the program to work. Any time I try to start it, I receive an error message that reads "Windows Live OneCare has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience." Since I've already paid money to renew the subscription for a year I don't want to invest in more anti-virus software, but my computer remains at risk. How can I correct this?
